HeyDenta vs Dental Intelligence: which AI receptionist fits a Philippine dental clinic?
Dental Intelligence is a practice analytics company used by more than 10,000 US practices, and in June 2026 it added an AI receptionist that answers the phone. HeyDenta is an AI front desk built for Philippine clinics, where the phone is only one of the doors patients knock on. This page lays the two side by side, with every Dental Intelligence claim linked to its source.
Dental Intelligence fits a US practice that already pays for its analytics and engagement suite and wants the phone answered by AI inside that bundle. HeyDenta fits a Philippine clinic that wants one system for Messenger, web chat, voice, records and reminders, in Taglish, at a price it can see.
- Dental Intelligence channels: the AI Receptionist answers phone calls only. Messenger is not mentioned.
- Bundle: sold as an add-on to the Engagement module, with online scheduling and payments as further add-ons.
- Price: none published. Every page routes to a demo request.
- Contract: annual, auto-renews, 30 days' notice, remaining term still owed if you cancel.
The short answer
Dental Intelligence started as the analytics layer on top of a practice's management system, and its Engagement module added texting, email, online scheduling and forms. The AI Receptionist, launched on 29 June 2026, answers inbound calls, recognises existing patients, schedules, and can collect balances by text. It works with most VoIP providers and includes 1,000 minutes a month.
For a Philippine clinic the sticking points are structural. The AI answers the phone and nothing else; chat lives in a separate module. It is sold as an add-on to a suite you must already buy, with booking and payments as further add-ons. No price is published. The contract is annual and you owe the rest of the term if you leave early. The launch release says 70 languages, but no list is published and Tagalog is not named. HeyDenta is one monthly plan with records, calendar, Messenger, web chat and reminders inside, cancel anytime, in English, Tagalog and Taglish.
Side by side: Dental Intelligence vs HeyDenta

Where each one fits
Neither tool wins every clinic. The fit depends on where the clinic is, where its patients talk, and what system sits underneath.
Dental Intelligence fits better when
- Your practice is in the US and already uses Dental Intelligence for analytics or engagement.
- Your patients call, and you want the phone answered inside the suite you already pay for.
- You run Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Denticon, Fuse or Open Dental and a VoIP phone system.
- An annual contract is fine for your practice.
HeyDenta fits better when
- Your patients message on Facebook and your website more than they call.
- You want replies in Tagalog or Taglish.
- You want records, calendar, reminders and the AI receptionist in one monthly plan, not a suite plus add-ons.
- You want to see the price, try it free for 14 days, and cancel any month.
What each one shows as proof
Dental Intelligence says more than 10,000 practices and 50,000 users are on its platform. Those are the company's own figures. Capterra shows 53 reviews at 4.6 out of 5, none of which mention the AI Receptionist.
HeyDenta is younger and smaller, so instead of a customer count we show the product: the demo answers a real patient conversation in Taglish and books the slot on a live calendar. Bring your own clinic's hours and services and watch Aria handle them before you decide. Our comparison with hiring a front-desk receptionist covers the cost side.

Does Dental Intelligence's AI receptionist speak Tagalog?

How much does Dental Intelligence cost?
No price is published. The AI Receptionist is sold as an add-on to the Engagement module, and every page routes to a demo request. HeyDenta starts at ₱4,990 a month, with a founding-clinic rate of ₱3,490 a month for life while spots last.
Does the Dental Intelligence AI answer messages too?
